ABOUT MURILO MARTINEZ​



Murilo Martinez was born in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul state, Brazil. Currently resides in the Rio de Janeiro. At age 12 he got his first guitar, where the first chords and musical tendencies were gradually developed in the artist, since then he began training and studying the instrument. With a strong sense of beauty and eternally linked to the songs that impress people, Murilo perceived that the music spoke for itself, which was in the field of the ineffable.

The guitarist always permeated informally in small instrumental compositions. However, it was only in 2007 that he adopted the "Fingerstyle" as musical work technique, receiving influences from artists of the genre, which complemented structurally their musical luggage in the process of compositions and experimentations on the acoustic guitar. Shortly thereafter, the guitarist was already doing shows of his compositions in many states of Brazil, always having a good response from the general public.



In summary, Murilo Martinez stands out for his originality and harmonic lightness on the gesture in the compositions. Self-taught, he tries to extract what is beautiful and audible in the sounds of the strings, where he has found, among the empty silence, his inspiration and beauty that many seek.



Currently, the musician performs several shows in concert halls, theaters and festivals for dissemination of their work. The artist also works with music production and soundtracks for films and commercials.
